IronWorks is a new service ministry at FUPC for men of all ages. We come together as men in the body of Christ, to be the hands of Christ, serving brothers and sisters who are in need. This is a no donation, service ministry.
We anticipate helping widows, seniors, single parents and those with inadequate financial resources or those in crisis with needed practical maintenance and minor repairs. In the case of larger or more extensive jobs and those who have the financial resources, but may have difficulty navigating the choice of a professional we will come along side to help determine what needs to be done and assist in the selection of a professional.
Examples of practical maintenance and minor repair jobs could be removing overgrown bushes, freeing a stuck window or door, adding weather stripping to a door or window, replacing a leaky flapper in a toilet, repairing a screen, replacing a lock set or adding a railing.
